March 29, Arches National Park

Kelly and I were blown away by Arches National Park, by far the best National Park we have been to so far. Hope these pics due it justice.

This formation is called "The Three Gossips"

Two thumbs up for Arches National Park!

"Garden of Eden"  This shot has 6 ft oil on canvas written all over it.

Uh... Kelly... you got something in your hair.

Heading up to the "South Window"  Amazazing...

Closup of the "South Window"

This is "Turret Arch"  And that little speck is a very exhausted "Darrin"

1.6 miles in but well worth the hike "Delicate Arch"

Slightly better view of "Delicate Arch"

One last shot of "Balance Rock"  and we are heading to Ogden for the night.

We took 173 pics here at Arches National Park and were just as impressed going through them again tonight as we were when we took them.  All in all a great day and Marley even made a friend "Luke" a 11 month old Boxer, all was good until he hit her in the face (bad dog no bones) I think she still liked him.

Grand Canyon

Arrived at the Grand Canyon just before sunset and we were both blown away at what God created.

Sunset at the South Rim Walking Trail.

Monday Morning 22 degrees but the Canyon is beautiful!

Remnant of last weeks snow.

Canyon is 22 miles across here.

Had to tell Kelly to stay away from the edge, she gets way to close for comfort.

One last shot before we head to Moab, Utah.

The Grand Canyon was outstanding, Kelly and I really enjoyed our time there. Camping however was a bit chilly as the thermometer plummeted to 17 degrees last night.  We decided not to stay another two nights and head out early instead.  The campground here is beautiful and we saw elk and deer walk through the campsites.  Awesome visit but again wait till April or May for warmer weather.
